[Sample bio: replace before launch] I write and tell stories: of roads and the people on them, of family memories and of places that remember more than we do. Jahan Story is where those stories live, in writing and as a podcast. I also run storytelling workshops and take on writing and narration commissions.
Why Jahan Story
"Jahan" means "world" in Persian. This site collects small stories from it: a conversation on a train, a box of letters, a gateway on an old road. Each one is written in Persian first and then told again in English and Arabic, so the same story can travel a little further.
